With over 1200 registrations an hour yesterday Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has asked that the online and postal registration for this year's festival be extended until Monday 5 March at 12 midnight saying that "a period of grace" is appropriate.
The official site has reported 100 registrations online every 5 minutes.
Everyone who wants to buy a ticket on 1 April will need to have registered by Monday 5 March – and provide a photograph of themselves. You can register online at http://www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk or by post. Postal application forms can be picked up from any branch of Millets, the high street camping store, or you can download a form from www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/tickets |
