US chart success for Bright Eyes

Exciting times for indie rock in America right now. First Arcade Fire debuted at Number 2 with Neon Bible. Then Modest Mouse hit the top spot with We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank. And now cult singer-songwriter Bright Eyes has rocketed into the US Billboard chart at Number 4 with his excellent, four star-rated Cassadaga album.

If you're not yet a convert, have a listen to standout track Four Winds, which finds the Omaha-born singer at his most melodic and accessible - even while he's singing about decomposing bodies and the "whore of Babylon".
