Give The Drummer Some!

What is it about the men behind the kit?

Perhaps it’s because they’re sat at the back. Perhaps it’s because they’re generally not the full shilling (you’d have to be to hit things for a living). Whatever the reason, drummers are generally the most attention-seeking members of bands. Here’s three kings of the ‘me too!’ syndrome.

Stereophonics’ ex-drummer Stuart Cable: look out for the ‘Animal from the Muppets’ face…

Phil Collins: the drum duet is always a bad idea.

Keith Moon: no goldfish were harmed in the making of this drum solo.

Moonie was the ultimate attention grabber. 99% of the time he deserved it. Wackiest rock star of all time.

Drummers are the most important musicians in any rock band. It is a well known fact that if the drummer isn't happening the rest of the group isn't either. God Bless Moonie. Bonham, Baker and Ringo!!!
