The Pigeon Detectives' riotous vignettes of life in a northern town have generated plenty of excitable 'next Arctic Monkeys' hype.
That might be going a bit far - but things are stacking up nicely for the Leeds gang. Their last single Romantic Type went Top 20, and the follow-up, I'm Not Sorry, has been A-listed by Radio 1. It's out as a single 21 May, followed by debut album Wait For Me a week later.
Singer Matt Bowman's verdict? "It's shit hot and you can jump around to it." Says it all really. Watch the video and decide for yourself.
