Good news music fans! From next month, your favourite music magazine and The Hospital, London’s most exclusive members club, are joining forces to host and present an exclusive series of live events.
Each month, Q The Music Club Live At The Hospital will play host to just the good stuff in music – from the best in emerging talent, to more established artists who carry Q’s prized stamp of approval. Each artist or band will perform a special, intimate, one-off gig at The Hospital, located at 24 Endell Street in London’s Covent Garden.
The audience for each gig will be made up of the world’s most discerning music fans (ie. you) – and admission will be absolutely free!
Q The Music Club Live At The Hospital will launch with the following brace of exclusive gigs:
Thursday 30 August, 8pm Stephen Fretwell
Fretwell will release his second album later this year. His current EP, the excellent Four Letter Words, suggests it will cement his position as one of Britain’s finest new singer songwriters.
Thursday, 20 September, 8pm Roisin Murphy
Former Moloko ice maiden Murphy is a pop star par excellence. Her second solo album, Overpowered, is due in October, and Q can already testify to its many splendours.
How To Get Tickets
Tickets for Q The Music Club Live At The Hospital will be issued on a strictly first come, first served basis. To apply for a ticket for either the Stephen Fretwell or Roisin Murphy performances email q@emap.com with the name of the artist you want to see in the subject line. Entries must be for one artist per person only. Deadline for entries is 1 August (Stephen Fretwell) and 1 September (Roisin Murphy
LMAO, you have to write an email to win the tickets... I was in such a rush that I didn't read the text very well... I just wrote an email and I do hope I'll win a ticket!
I last saw Roisin in concert, at the London Scala, back in July 2005. Great Gig.
Despite the failed the terrorist act, the following day, it not stop me from wanting to see concerts in London.
I would love to venture back into London to see her in concert again.

hello, i´m so exited to see that Roisin is going to play a concert!! I really love her! she s the most inspiering woman for me.
So I would love to win a ticket . This would be the best reason to come to london!!!

Could I have 50 tickets please? I've 49 Grandparents & they're all on their death-beds & coincidentally they all have the same dying wish...to see Roisin Murphy, in London, with their favorite grandson~
I just received the Roisin Murphy newsletter and they call every UK resident to enter this competition... does this mean ONLY UK residents have a change to win a ticket???
I was the first to leave a comment here and probably one of the first to sent an email to win a ticket for Roisin, but I might not win because I'm not a UK resident but Dutch...???
I haven't seen this rule before so I'm hoping that also foreigners have a change to win a ticket! :)

Roison has to come to Holland and when it is possible in Amsterdam!!!!
