Cash For Questions: The Killers

The next band to face the legendary Cash For Questions interrogation is The Killers. Let’s hope, unlike 50 Cent last month, they actually turn up for the interview.

Email your questions, plus your contact details, to cashforquestions@q4music.com. You’ll win £25 if your question makes it into the mag. But you’ll have to be quick – the deadline is Tuesday 16 October.

Can Brandon tell me if it's true that his son's name is Ammon? This info was contained in an Aussie newspaper but has been seen nowhere else for some reason. He need only say Yes or No!

Hee hee i hope my question is printed!

Hey. :)
Are The Killers playing any more gigs in Belfast? They've played south of the border a few times at Oxegen and Dublin, but only in Northern Ireland once, at Tennent's Vital, which was absoultey awesome! Is there any reason for only coming once in their careers? If not, I think they should come more, we'd be very glad to have them. :)
Much Love.

Which cover did you most enjoy doing, ruby don't take your love to town or shadowplay?

Posted by emesha at 08:52PM | October 11, 2007

Brandon once messed around with Zane Lowe and played Take me on - A-Ha, will they ever cover it fully, it would suit the killers perfectly.

Hey,

when do they come back to Germany.I can't hardly wait to see them in Cologne.Since I 've seen them last November- I become one of the biggest addicts of them and like someone who needs his cigarettes- I NEED TO SEE THEM BACK ON STAGE - If they like to make an other cover what would they think about "Wrong Number" from The Cure or "Good Times Roll" from The Cars???

Posted by killersmiss at 04:19AM | October 12, 2007

Hey Brandon i would really like if you could contact Morrissey and do a duet with him.I have been a Killers fan since summer 2004 and i have read all your articles, and the ones that interest me the most are ones with you expressing how much you love Morrissey and how he was your musical hero as a child growing up.So please please Brandon do a song with the Mozzer.

Posted by lissa at 09:45AM | October 12, 2007

What sound is the band taking for album #3?

Posted by luke at 05:07PM | October 12, 2007

Well, i'm really looking forward to listening to the new album- i really cant wait. So, what inspired you to do the new album (Sawdust). Why not just do something like amazingly good Hot Fuss and Sams Town?

Posted by Natalie Williams at 07:36PM | October 12, 2007

Congratulations Brandon! You became a dad this year. How are you liking working and also being a farther?

I'm a member of the Victims fanclub, and I was wondering if you guys really write the band blogs? And if you do, do you take turns or write them together? =)

Posted by Lauren at 09:12PM | October 12, 2007

Are we only allowed one question submission for this?

Posted by Candace at 09:29PM | October 12, 2007

Also... you guys I don't think you need to asking your questions on HERE. You're supposed to e-mail them to the magazine.

Posted by Candace at 09:30PM | October 12, 2007

For The Killers:

You seem to have been touring nonstop since Sam's Town came out. You even made a music video for Christmas and recorded the video for "For Reason's Unknown" over Easter. Do you guys ever get a break? And if so, what do you do when you have a minute to relax?

Thanks!
Jessica

Hi, loved the work you've done with Stuart Price and the Pet Shop Boys. Tell me, Master Flowers, would you and the band ever consider an out an out electronic album instead of teasing us with your flirty keyboard flourishes, you tease you?

Posted by Solar Cower at 03:04AM | October 13, 2007

What inspired you guys to write "Tranquilize"? The song is a tad dark and beautiful, was that the feeling you wanted to give your fans when they heard the song? I love it!

Posted by Cathy at 07:08AM | October 13, 2007

Alot of people have said that The Killers are rock 'n' roll legends, and you've only been releasing music since 2004. Does that put alot of pressure on you?

Posted by Allison at 09:06PM | October 13, 2007

Hey Brandi:

When you masturbate, what (or who) do you think about mostly?

When the inevitable happens and one of you does a 'Hooky' and throws his rattle out of the pram, what other musical areas and genres would each of you consider exploring deeper?

Posted by Jason at 05:51PM | October 15, 2007

Just out of interest, Brandon, have you got round to reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins yet? If anything it'd be a great title for an EP or something.

Posted by Smirnov at 05:56PM | October 15, 2007

Hi Guys,
Do you think that 'Trigger for Accolades' is a good name for a teen rock band?

Posted by Solar Cower at 07:18PM | October 15, 2007

If you could, would you want to change the lyrics in Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine to "She kicked and screamed while I held her throat"? Why or why not?

For The Killers:

Sam's Town was really different to Hot Fuss. What do you think changed your style of music between your debut and that?

And your gig in Dublin in February was the best I've ever been to. Thanks.
