No Adele, Foals or The Whip! Tut, tut, I used to think Q knew what was going on...
I agree
After listening all the bands only The Troubadours stands out to me.
And still unsigned????????????????????????????????????????
Is this true?

I've listened to all the bands - The only ones IMO who have good tunes are Duffy, The Troubadours and Glasvegas (love the name!) ... Sorry everyone else :p x

where is Giovanna Olvera in all this? She needs to be added to the list for sure.

Vote The Troubadours
(Show that you know about music).
The Troubadours ARE the best new act of 2008.

I checked out the Foals earlier. I just cant get into them at all....Dont think they deserve to go in this list of best breaking bands for 08.

I think todays standard of music has seriously gone down hill. I think Q got a few right on here. However the majority are seriously average.
I'm with the girl or guy who made that post earlier. The ONLY innovative sounds and songs i've heard on this list are Glasvegas and The Troubadours. Great melodies (a rareity these days). I think Duffy's voice is beautiful.
Does Q have forums to discuss music etc? if not, why not?

The Courteeners are going to be massive this year. It's The Smiths meets Oasis. Simple as that. I guess the fact that they aren't 'experimental' is the thing annoying most of the people who are complaining about them.

Friendly Fires should be in the top 10 they're ace. Glasvegas are the best band there, Cajun Dance Party have one good song, otherwise they're just Kooks. Courteeners sound alright but aren't anything special. The Troubadours sound good but may as well listen to the Coral.
Everyone play curling.

I think it's One Night Only and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong all the way this year. You wait and see come December and remember where you heard it!!

The Troubadours gigging with The Enemy and Mark Ronson.
See them live - and don't forget to vote.
You can help make them massive.
