Glastonbury registration re-opens

There are still a few thousand tickets left for Glastonbury 2008, so organiser Michael Eavis has decided to re-open the registration process, which was introduced last year to deter touts. From 4pm today (8 April) you can sign up at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk - it's a simple matter of filling in some details and supplying a passport-size photo, after which you'll be sent a link enabling you to buy tickets.

Tickets cost £155 each plus a £5 booking fee, and £4 postage and packaging per order.

“We’ve had a lot of enquiries from people asking if they can register, especially now they realise it’s still possible to buy tickets,” said Michael Eavis. “This will give them the chance to see the best line-up of any festival this summer.”

The official line-up will be announced here on 1 May, but a number of names have already been confirmed. Here's how the bill is looking so far:
