Q4music.com can exclusively reveal that the first ever Radiohead greatest hits album will be released through Parlophone on 2 June.
Radiohead: The Best Of will be available as a double CD package and 4 x vinyl LP set. CD 1 will also be available as a stand alone CD. It will include material from all the band's albums for Parlophone, from Pablo Honey to Hail To The Thief, plus one B-side, Talk Show Host.
Radiohead have long been opposed to the idea of a greatest hits set. In February, guitarist Ed O'Brien told a Canadian TV station: “[Parlophone] are planning to do a greatest hits... to coincide with our tour. That’s an interesting one. We won’t be doing any promotion for that, obviously.”

Radiohead aren't releasing it. EMI are, you even say in the article that Radiohead are against the idea

I cant believe it says that Radiohead is releasing the best of, the article even sites ed as saying that the want nothing to do with the release. First EMI has their way with the box set. now this , it's like a yard sale in xendless xurbia . Ii for one pledge not to buy the greatest "hits". and one last note, Radiohead is a band that has far too great of music to release a g.h. I would say it s for more poppy bands of American IDOLS not Oxfords finest.

whats so wrong with a greatest hits? i like radiohead but not so much i want to sit through all their albums, some of their stuff is rubbish! people need to lighten up about music, the same people that complain about record companies are the same people who download music for free so the bands miss out. get over yourselves!!
