Troubled Amy Winehouse will not be charged over video footage that allegedly showed her using drugs.
Winehouse was questioned for nine hours last week over a video which appeared to show her smoking drugs during a party at her north London home earlier this year, images from which were published in The Sun prompting an investigation.
Her spokesman said police had finished their investigation and confirmed no charges would be brought against the 24-year-old singer, who earlier this year won five Grammys.
"She was questioned by police last week and released on unconditional bail. They have now concluded their enquiries and no charges will be brought. Amy’s bail date to return to Limehouse police station has been cancelled, bringing this matter to an end," her spokesman said in a statement.
"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer,"
Metropolitan police confirmed no further action was being taken against a 24-year-old north London woman arrested last week on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs.
Winehouse's musical ability has been overshadowed by her turbulent private life in recent months. As well as the apparent collapse of her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil, who has been remanded in custody over charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. He is due to stand trial next month.
Last month Winehouse was cautioned by police for assault after she slapped a man during a night out.
