Q reader is geared up

It must have been the finest prize available to any aspiring musician. A colossal collection of music gear, together worth £12,000, and it was there for the taking for one lucky Q winner.

Step forward Paul O'Leary from Corby, Northants, who was the chap whose name was drawn from the metaphorical hat after entering the competition, along with several thousand others, in May's edition of Q and via Qthemusic.com.

To win the prize offered by the London International Music Show, Paul correctly identified that the Dave Grohl-inspired guitar released last year was the Gibson
DG-335. He is pictured collecting his prize from David Phillips of LIMS.
