The return of Superstars after more than 20 years saw one of the great TV themes return to TV. Channel Five opted not to tinker with re-recordings, updated mixes or any other such messing around with a winning formula. Instead, the over-echoed fanfare of Johnny Pearson's Heavy Action rang out loud and true.
